Chatty Cathy

I got to have my first conversation with my sweet little Paytin today. She usually talks to us in the form of a cry or a yell and has coo'ed at me only a couple times in her SEVEN weeks (happy 7 weeks baby girl!) but today, we got to have a good little conversation of coo's and ahh's and little squeals while I was putting lotion on her after her bath and I got a smile too-:) It MADE my day :)!!

At the Lake

We love to go to the lake on Mike's days off and today was no exception. However, I said, we were just going to go and eat lunch and hang out, so we didn't need to pack up all of our stuff, and we decided we wanted to play in the water anyways...so...in our clothes we went :) The water near our picnic area isnt deep at all, so Mike and I took turns wading in with Brayden while the other one sat with Paytin :)

Everyday Life

So, this first picture seems like no big deal, nothing special and it's not really. But I smiled when I snapped it, because who really wants to take pictures of their messy house? Not me! Especially because I am married to a clean freak (seriously, Mike is the cleaner in our house and it's such a blessing to me!) but over the years, his habits have rubbed off on me some and I really cant stand clutter. But, what happens with two kids when other stuff has to be done other than just cleaning? This :) And, it makes me smile, Brayden watching his Mickey Mouse cartoon, in underwear since we're potty training, and Paytin on the dog bed. Makes us look like bad parents right? It's sad, because out of all the toys, swings, playmats and beds that Paytin has, she LOVES the dogbed, so unfortunately for our dogs, they dont get to lay on it at all anymore. It has a very soft cover, but a firm foad inside so I dont have to worry about her sinking into it, anyways, its sad I know, but its one of her favorite places!
